Description

The continued development and evolution of large count fiber drives the development of larger tooling to accommodate installations without damaging the product.  Condux offers a 62 x 8 Fiber Optic Puller Capstan (08675275) to address minimum bend radius requirements specified by the manufacturers of the larger fiber “ specifically 3456 & 6912 count.  Dependent on the manufacturer, the requirement for selecting a capstan is either 30x or 40x the outside diameter (OD) of the fiber.

• The Condux 62 Capstan is compatible with the Pole Mount Frame (08676000). While this application would be rare, it is possible.  
• The Condux 62 Capstan is compatible with the stationary Fiber Optic Hitch Mount (08675908); however, there must be 17 clearance from ground to bottom of the hitch receiver tube. 
• The Condux 62 Capstan weighs in at 195 lbs. It™s a substantial piece of equipment.
