Features:
- Cycle life: SBS’s Ni-Zn batteries, in certain applications, have achieved as many as 500 cycles at 80% depth-of-discharge (DOD)
- Lower cost than NiMH, better performance than lead acid
- Flexible prismatic "cell" housing which permits custom configuration in OEM equipment
- Charging times: usually 2.5–3.5 hours
- Wide operating temperature range: -10° to +50°C
- Lighter weight: Nickel-Zinc batteries can be as much as 50% lighter than competitive lead acid battery products.
- Environmentally friendly: less than 2% lead, classified as non-hazardous by EPA
- Maintenance-free: sealed unit, non-spillable
- High specific energy: 55-80 Wh/kg
