Renewables™ by Remee for Solar & Wind Energy

Remee provides the following cables for new installation or maintenance in Solar and Wind farms:

  • Solar Array Cables – Copper: PV (Photovoltaic) wire rated 1kV/2kV with stranded BC or TC, and 600V with stranded BC; all PV cables have XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation. Most popular sizes are shown in the Part Number Table below, other sizes available on request.

  • Collection Cables (DC Feeder PV) – Aluminum: PV (Photovoltaic) wire rated 1kV/2kV with compact stranded bare aluminum (AA-8000 Series Aluminum Alloy); all PV cables have XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation. Also used for connecting solar arrays. Most popular sizes are shown in the Part Number Table below, other sizes available on request.

  • Power Equipment / Wind Tower Cables: Type RHH / RHW-2 / USE-2 copper cables rated for use at 600V and suitable for wet locations, including direct burial. Also, 4-conductor cables with stranded BC, rated 1000V, with XLPE insulation and PVC jacket for WTTC applications. The most popular sizes of both cable types are shown in the Part Number Table below; other configurations and sizes are available on request.

  • MV Primary Distribution Cables – Copper & Aluminum: Both MV Series are rated 35kv; they feature tree-retardant cross-linked polyethylene (TR-XLPE) insulation and a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) jacket. The cable is designed for use in three-phase systems with voltage not exceeding 35,000 volts phase to phase. Suitable for direct burial.A “DISCHARGE-FREE” design concept underpins the manufacture of this cable. Conductor shield, insulation, and insulation shield are extruded simultaneously over the conductor by using triple extrusion and dry-curing technology. The insulation shield is designed to be strippable. Double-helix compatible water-blocking yarn is used on all conductors. Water-swellable tape is applied over the insulation shield.

  • Substation Cable: Remee provides a comprehensive selection of standard control cables, shielded and unshielded, as well as custom cable manufacturing capabilities to provide the data and power handling needed for specific substation applications. Armoring options are also available.

  • Fiber Optic Cable: Interference-free Fiber Optic cables are available with loose tube construction featuring Remee’s gel-free AquaLock™ design; available with and without armor. Fiber optic cables in duct are available upon request. Also see Remee’s complete selection of Fiber Optic Cables.

  • Ground Wire: BC and TC solid and stranded conductors are available in a variety of configurations and sizes.
