This air vacuum is the perfect partner for your X-LT (400-11)or X-ST2 (402-11) Model Air Knifes. The Air Knife must be disconnected before using the vacuum on a 185 CFM compressor. If you have a 375 CFM compressor, you can use both the X-LT or X-ST2 simultaneously with the VAC-H1. The Supersonic Air Vac is different from other vac units you typically see at excavation sites. Our vac does not use a traditional vacuum and tank unit. Instead, the same compressor you use to power your Supersonic Air Knife air digger. A simple discharge hose directs the material from the hole to the location of your choosing. Using the VAC-H1 or VAC-H2 instead of a standard vac truck, especially in smaller excavation situations gives you several advantages: unlike hydro excavation, there is no slurry to dispose of. You can put the same material back into the hole instead of dumping the slurry and bringing in new fill. The compressor can be transported by a conventional pickup, and the tool can access remote excavation sites. Park your compressor on the street and dig in the back yard of a residence. Suction does not suffer because the suction is generated at the tool, not the end of the outlet. Anything too large to fit through the mouth of the vac can be dropped to the side by momentarily releasing the trigger.
