Bulk Cables, Bulk Fiber Cables, InSky OPGW(Part Number – IAGWIO-) – InSky ACS Ground Wire – Aluminum-Clad Steel (ACS) Ground Wire – Count – InSky OPGW – Incab
InSky ACS Ground Wire (Aluminum-Clad Steel Ground Wire) is a standard component of high-voltage transmission lines. It can be used when fiber capacity is not needed or when additional fault current capacity is required. Aluminum-clad steel wires are highly corrosion-resistant and can be barely destroyed by heat during accidents. The technology of cladding ensures no peeling or crumbling of the aluminum.
InSky ACS Ground Wire manufactured by Incab has a proven design life of 50 years and rated breaking strength (RBS) from 6,744 up to 157,366 lb. ACS ground wires shield high-voltage conductors from lightning strikes. Aluminum-clad steel ground wires are typically used in regions with much higher lightning activity (such as the USA or Brazil), showing excellent reliability under real operating conditions. The electrical resistance of the InSky ACS ground wire is about 2 times lower, which means it is more resistant to short-circuit current. Relatively low weight of InSky ACS Ground Wire provides lower load on transmission line supports.SKU: IAGWIO- -

Bulk Cables, Bulk Fiber Cables, InSky OPGW(Part Number – IOSIO-432) – InSky OPGW S – Optical Ground Wire Stranded (S) – 432 Count – InSky OPGW – Incab
InSky OPGW S (Optical Ground Wire Stranded) is an optimal solution for high mechanical loads as it combines superior mechanical and electrical properties with the highest zero fiber strain margin (≥ 80% RBS) for increased long-term optical reliability. It can have up to 432 fibers and is highly corrosion-resistant. Stainless steel tubes provide superior protection for the fibers. Stranded OPGW cable is also highly flexible and resistant to tensile loads than other OPGW design types which makes it possible to pull it faster, farther and through more angles. Longer pulls through more angles may yield fewer splice points.
All Incab OPGW cables have a proven design life of 50 years. They are a wholesome 3-in-1 solution for the utilities and telecommunication industry being a ground wire that enables efficient power distribution grids, a telecom medium with high-speed optical fiber for data transmission and additionally for power line monitoring. Moreover, they don’t require additional costs when placing fiber optic communication lines on power lines.
Incab OPGW cables have been tested by the independent laboratory “Kinectrics” (Canada) according to IEEE 1222 standard.

Bulk Cables, Bulk Fiber Cables, InSky OPGW(Part Number – IOIO-288) – InPhase OPPC – Optical Phase Conductor (OPPC) – 288 Count – InSky OPGW – Incab
InPhase OPPC (Optical Phase Conductor) is an optimal solution to provide redundancy in harsh conditions, such as long cable spans, crossings of cable spans, power lines with previously installed OPGW and ADSS and others. InPhase OPPC cable does not increase the load on support towers. It can be used as a backup or independent communication channel.
The main application of InPhase OPPC is the transmission of electrical power and construction of extensive optical communication system for data transmission. It can have up to 288 fibers and is highly corrosion-resistant. The rated breaking strength (RBS) range can be from 3,372 to 44,962 lb.
Outer layers of InPhase OPPC are made of aluminum alloy wire which effectively removes heat from a lightning stroke point and increases short-circuit current resistance. It can also be used for distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) and distributed temperature monitoring (DTS) to prevent third-party intervention, detect place of lightning strike and short circuit.SKU: IOIO-288 -

Bulk Cables, Bulk Fiber Cables, InSky OPGW(Part Number – IMIO-48) – InSky MASS – Metallic Aerial Self-Supporting (MASS) – 48 Count – InSky OPGW – Incab
InSky MASS (Metallic Aerial Self-Supporting) design is similar to OPGW design with a lower cost. It can have up to 48 fibers and its maximum rated design tension can reach up to 67,433 lb. MASS is used on medium and high voltage power lines when it is not possible to use OPGW and ADSS or it is not economically feasible. This cable is not designed to transmit electricity. Relatively small size and weight allows minimizing the load on the towers, and at the same time the necessary sag requirements are met. It is possible to suspend MASS, both in the inter-phase space, and below the phase conductors, in some cases without disconnecting the overhead line. It is suitable for large spans between towers, for installation over rivers and ravines.
Approximately one third of all damage to ADSS cables, as a rule, occurs as a result of vandalism, mainly due to gunshots, while MASS is almost invulnerable to them. Consequently, for the conditions where gunshots are a high risk, the use of MASS becomes not only economically feasible, but also, when OPGW installation is impossible, becomes the only option for building fiber optic communication lines. An additional advantage of MASS can be its insensitivity to fires under the line.SKU: IMIO-48 -
