Notes: The mitre box and slotting tool kit is a simple mechanical means of preparing a shortened length of 220 or 100 mm duct for connection to another standard part. e.g. elbow, cross connector, etc. The mitre box ensures that a true 90 degree cut is achieved with a standard “carpenter’s” saw on both 220 & 100 mm duct. The slotting tool notches the duct end to suit a standard connector. A plastic tool box is provided for storage and transport.
